Q. Do you sell wholesale to the public?
A. No
Q. Do I have to pay a sales tax?
A. Yes we have a Goods and Service Tax (GST)
which is added to the total cost at the end of the transaction (New
Zealand customers only).No Sales Tax for coutries outside of New
Zealand
Q. What is your goods return fee?
A. If the error or problem is ours we
pay full cost. However there is no refund if you change your mind after
viewing the urns. If there is any damage you will need to contact the shipper.
Be aware that with natural timbers, colours can vary within the timber. Some
blemishes are also part of the natural timber.
Q. If I change my mind prior to
the goods being shipped can I get a refund.
A. No, there will be no refund
in the case of a cancellation.
Q. Will Australian, Ash containers fit your Toroa Urn
A. No, our Toroa range is tailoured to take the New
Zealand plastic containers provided by the Funeral Directors here. Australian
USA and UK ash containers are different and we recommend that you check the
measurements recorded on the web page of the individual urn prior to ordering.
If the sizes are too small, we would have to negotiate the difference in price
to make a larger one.
Q. Can a picture be put on the
urn?
A. Yes – a ceramic picture can be added
to adult urns but this would be at a cost. We make small urns with a photo
frame that could be used for children.
Q. How long will it take to get
my urn?
A This depends on the destination area.
We are New Zealand based and here in New Zealand our orders are dispatched
within five working days depending on stock availability. International orders
may take 7 - 10 days.
Q. Can urns be used for pets?
A. Yes, our Iti range of urns are ideal
for pets. We also make pet urns with a frame for photo
Q. Can I put my brother’s dogs ashes with him in your urns?
A. Yes we can make the urn bigger (a
special) to accommodate this. There would be a price adjustment.
Q. Can I put Mum and Dad together
in your urn?
A. Yes we can make a double urn to suit (a
special).
Q. Are your urns sealed?
A. Yes they are sealed inside but ashes usually come in a
plastic urn or bag and then placed inside the urn. The panel is then screwed
up from the bottom to seal the ashes inside.
Q. What do you finish the urns
in?
A. Our main finish is oils to bring the beautiful grain
out and then a final wax to harden the surface. We also finish in polyurathane
or painted.
Q. How do I pay for the urn?
A. You can pay by Bank Cheque or
Personal Cheque
